Nouveau titre dans une nouvelle pub !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Produit par Rick Rubin, le nouvel album s'intitulera La Futura et sortira le 11 septembre. Selon le groupe, cet album renouera avec les recettes qui ont fait la popularité du groupe. Ceci dit, on note des évolutions qu'il faudra aller chercher du côté des Black Keys, Jack White, Queens Of The Stone Age et beaucoup d'autres. Euh, je suis un peu inquiet...

LA FUTURA ARRIVES THIS SEPTEMBER FROM ZZ TOP!!

The first new studio album from ZZ Top in nine years is LA FUTURA, set for release September 11 in the US by American Recordings. The album harks back to the hallmark raw sound of the band's formative years and will, inevitably, be considered a return to form on multiple levels. LA FUTURA, produced by Rick Rubin and Billy F Gibbons, the band’s guit
arist/singer, finds the legendary group infusing the newly recorded work with the electric blues/roots approach that typified ZZ Top's earliest work while, at the same time, reaching for new sonic horizons. At its fundament, this is the incarnation of the band whose influence resonates today with such artists as The Black Keys, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age and many others.

J'ai mis dans recherche "ZZ top" et on me signale qu'il n'y a pas de sujet alors je le crée.
Le nouvel opus des barbus est un bonheur , plus j'écoute "FUTURA" plus je l'apprécie , nous retrouvons ici le groupe de ses débuts avec une musique clairement de la campagne sudiste américaine.

ZZ TOP sera de retour en France dès juin prochain : le 18 juin au Zénith de Paris, le 19 juin au Zénith de Rouen, le 20 au Zénith de Dijon puis le 12 juillet au Millésium d’Epernay.

Pour celles et ceux qui n'ont pas leurs albums, sortira le 10 juin 1 coffret The Complete Studios Albums (1970-1990)

The set will include the original mixes for the group's first ten albums including their 1971 debut “ZZ Top's First Album” as well as “Rio Grande Mud” (1972), “Tres Hombres” (1973), “Fandango!” (1975), “Tejas” (1976), “Degüello” (1979), “El Loco” (1981), “Eliminator” (1983), “Afterburner” (1985) and “Recycler” (1990).

The original mixes for the band's “ZZ Top's First Album,” “Rio Grande Mud” and “Tejas” albums will be released in CD format for the very first time. “Fandango!” will feature the original tracking order.

Each album will be in a wallet sleeve that will feature a reproduction of the original album artwork, including the gatefold art for “Tres Hombres” and “Tejas.”

"We're gratified that the albums from the first 20 years of the band are going to be made available in this set,” said the band. “We're especially delighted to note the restoration of ‘ZZ Top's First Album,’ ‘Rio Grande Mud’ and ‘Tejas’ has been incorporated; it's good to have been made whole again on a certain level."

The collection spans 100 tracks that follow the band’s journey from the honky tonks of Texas to the stages of the world, starting with the earthy blues and electrifying boogie that defined their ’70s sound — “Just Got Paid,” “La Grange,” “Tush” and “Cheap Sunglasses.”

ZZ Top will hit the road for concert dates in the U.S. and Europe, starting May 2 in Newkirk, Oklahoma and ending July 7 in Linz, Austria.
