Ozzy Osbourne : 2 nouveaux albums en projet (08/08/08)

Interviewé à propos de ses projets pour le futur, Ozzy Osbourne a dit qu’il prévoyait déjà l’enregistrement de non pas un album mais bien de deux albums. L’ex-chanteur de Black Sabbath semble apparemment plutôt pressé et a ajouté : « Vous savez, le temps est maintenant quelque chose qui a une grande valeur à mes yeux. Ma mission aujourd’hui est d’en faire le plus possible ».


Reste à voir si ce sera des albums de qualités, pas des trucs baclés...

Le dernier en date Black Rain était d'excellente facture . C'est plutôt une excellente nouvelle .

Selon une interview exclusive donnée au magazine Classic Rock, Ozzy serait à la recherche d'un remplaçant à Zakk Wylde pour le poste de guitariste . Et le nom de John 5 apparait déjà comme un sérieux candidat au poste.

Classic Rock caught up with Ozzy Osbourne last week at the Slash & Friends gig in Norway, where the whispers backstage had guitarist John 5 (ex-Marilyn Manson, currently with Rob Zombie) lined up as a possible replacement for Zakk Wylde… “Well, I’m getting a new guitar player as we speak,” said Ozzy, “and everyone has been saying to me for a long time, ‘Get Johnny 5!’ And I tried him at one time and I didn’t really give him a chance. We’ll see, I don’t know. I haven’t fallen out with Zakk, but Zakk’s got his own band, and I felt like my stuff was beginning to sound like Black Label Society. I just felt like I wanted a change, y’know? (...) So you’re taking it easy recording this album? “Oh yeah. Zakk came down and did a bunch of stuff and I don’t know if I want to use it but I’ve got it there if I do. And this Kevin Churko is a bit of an all-rounder so I’m getting back to basics in some respects. One thing about a guy who can’t do all the finger-tapping stuff is that he plays better on the riffs cos it’s not all (hums riff for Iron Man followed by over-the-top widdling).”

c'est Rob ( zombie) qui va pas être content .Plus sérieusement , je vois pas se que ça va donner avec John 5 .......

Le nouvel album s'intitulera Soul Sucka et sortira courant juin 2010 avec son nouveau guitariste Gus G

Bercy le 20 septembre prochain. Il réunira à ses cotés 2 groupes majeurs
de la scène heavy metal : KORN et DANKO JONES

A 62 ans, l'ancien
chanteur des Black Sabbath, surnommé The Prince of Darkness, est une
référence de la scène métal.

"Scream" le nouvel et 10ème album
studio d'Ozzy Osbourne sortira le 14 juin.

"Scream" succède à
"Black Rain", sorti en 2007 et écoulé à plus d'un million d'exemplaires
dans le monde.

Produit et écrit par Ozzy Osbourne et Kevin
Churko, l'album "Scream" a été enregistré chez la star, dans son studio à
Los Angeles. Osbourne s'est entouré pour cet album du guitariste, Gus
G. (Firewind, ex-Dream Evil, Arch Enemy), du bassiste Rob "Blasko"
Nicholson, du batteur Tommy Clufetos (ex-Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper) et du
claviériste Adam Wakeman.

Ozzy is releasing a special tour edition of current album Scream in early October.

Available in two-CD and double vinyl formats, this will include three extra tracks from the recording sessions for the album, plus four live songs and the vidoe for Let Me Hear You Scream.

Le problème est qu'il s'est endormi dedans plusieurs heures. Il en est ressorti le corps entièrement brûlé, ne pouvant pratiquement plus bouger. Pour une première, la star anglaise a été servie. "Je suis rentré dans la cabine de bronzage, j'ai sélectionné la plus forte intensité et je me suis allongé. Je me suis réveillé quelques heures heures plus tard avec le sentiment d'avoir été frappé par une bombe atomique. Je m'en suis vraiment voulu car maintenant j'ai du mal à marcher, je n'arrive plus à sourire, et la moindre parcelle de ma peau me fait souffrir le martyre. C'est comme si j'avais payé quelqu'un pour me plonger dans un bain d'acide", s'est confié Ozzy Osbourne. Il y a de fortes chances pour que le "prince des ténèbres" soit aujourd'hui dégoûté des UV. Selon certains médias anglais, Ozzy Osbourne pourrait rester dans cet état encore quelques mois. "Je ne suis allé qu'une seule fois dans un centre de bronzage", a-t-il expliqué à la presse avant de prendre la bonne résolution de "ne plus rien faire en rapport avec les UV (...). C'est pas grave, on doit bien pouvoir se créer un super look même avec un teint blafard non ?" Il y a fort à parier que le chanteur de 61 ans soit contraint d'annuler quelques concerts, dont celui du 20 septembre prévu à Paris Bercy pour la promotion de son nouvel album Scream... Ozzy Osbourne peut toutefois encore nous surprendre ! Après tout « Je ne suis pas encore en chaise roulante ! », affirmait-il après sa mésaventure.

A priori , l'incident est survenu , il y a quelques mois déjà . Il apparaît évident que Yahoo.fr qui en est à l'origine , a voulu oeuvrer dans le "sensationnalisme"pour appâter le client.

Ozzy Osbourne burnt himself so badly on a sun bed HE COULDN'T WALK FOR MONTHS. The rocker fell asleep while using the artificial tanning machine and severely damaged his skin leaving him barely able to move.

"I once went to a tanning salon, turned the machine straight up to 10 and passed out on the bed," Ozzy said. "I woke up a few hours later looking like I'd been hit by an atomic bomb!"

"I was furious with myself FOR MONTHS because I could hardly walk - never mind smile, bend over or do anything that involved creasing even the tiniest part of my skin. I might as well have paid someone to throw me in a bath of acid."

The 61-year-old singer, who is married to TV star Sharon Osbourne, believes no one should succumb to the lure of tanning booths and should instead just be happy to be pale.

He added, "It ages you by decades, too. A few doses of the hard stuff and you'll end up with a face like an antique football. I recommend avoiding anything with UV rays and settling for the pale and interesting look."

Ozzy a repris Imagine de John Lennon à un concert d'Amnesty International.

Ozzy a ensuite fait une cover de How ? qui figure sur l'album Imagine.

Ozzy has recorded a version of John Lennon’s How?, to mark what would have been the late Beatle’s 70th birthday.

The song was originally on Lennon’s 1971 album Imagine, and Ozzy’s cover is available through iTunes, with all proceeds going to Amnesty International.

Ozzy Osbourne is the first act to be confirmed for Sweden Rock, and he also plays the Wacken festival.

The Prince Of Darkness makes his debut Sweden Rock next year. The event happens from June 8-11 at Solvesborg.

V'là ti pas que les fidèles d'une église baptiste du Kansas ont l'intention ce soir de faire le "pied de grue" devant la salle de concert afin de venir protester contre le fait que notre Madman favori soit synonyme de péché et de rebellion et qu'il aurait eu l'audace de qualifier cette église de "néfaste".A noter que cette église s'était déjà fait remarquer en entreprenant la même démarche lors des funérailles du Lutin.


A Kansas church intends to picket Ozzy’s gig in Kansas City tonight (January 22).

The Westboro Baptist Chuch claim that Ozzy “Promotes all the filth and rebellion he can and has the gall to call the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ ‘evil’ for warning this doomed world?”.

They also insist that “God Hates Ozzy”.

The same church also picketed Ronnie James Dio’s funeral.

This year's crazy winter will continue well into the spring with a blizzard as intense as it gets.

On May 31, music fans will have their first taste of re-issues from rock icon OZZY OSBOURNE's catalog of work with the releases of two albums which form the cornerstone of Ozzy Osbourne's career as a solo artist: Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman (Epic Records/Legacy Recordings). Long revered by rock fans around the world, these two albums created a template for hard rock in the 1980's and beyond as they were marked by the ground-breaking and historic union of Ozzy and the late guitar hero Randy Rhoads. These definitive versions of 1980's Blizzard of Ozz (with previously unreleased bonus tracks) and 1981's Diary of a Madman are available individually on vinyl or CD, or together in a deluxe collector's box. All versions were restored and remastered from the original analog sources by George Marino.

The 30th Anniversary Edition of Blizzard of Ozz CD includes the original album in its entirety, restored and remastered for this edition, with bonus tracks, while the new Legacy Edition of Diary of a Madman includes the original album in its entirety, restored and remastered for this edition, with a bonus second CD of previously unreleased live performances featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads with rhythm section Rudy Sarzo (bass) and Tommy Aldridge (drums). A single disc version of the remastered Diary of a Madman will also be available.

For serious fans and collectors, the limited edition 30th Anniversary deluxe boxed set houses the restored and remastered vinyl and CD editions of Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman, the "Ozzy Live" compact disc. Beyond the music, the box set is highlighted by a variety of exclusives including an expansive 100-page coffee table book, a two-sided wall-size poster, a precise and detailed full-size replica of Ozzy's iconic gold cross that he has worn for 30 years, and "Thirty Years After The Blizzard" DVD.

This new "Thirty Years After The Blizzard" DVD chronicles Ozzy's years with Randy Rhoads features previously unseen footage of Ozzy and Randy filmed in 1981 & 1982; it incorporates rare archival photos and films; along with new and revelatory interviews with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Lemmy (Motorhead), Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx, Rob Halford, Zakk Wylde, Bill Ward and more.
