LED ZEPPELIN & TOLKIEN

Je pense qu'il est inutile de présenter John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.
Il parraitrait que les chansons suivante sont plus ou moins inspirées de son oeuvre :

Black Mountain Side (dumoins le titre..)
Ramble On
The Battle Of Evermore
Misty Mountain Hop
Over The Hills And Far Away

Est-ce vrai?
(Pour The Battle, c'est apparament indégnable)
Etant grand fan de LZ et de Tolkien, j'aimerais vraiment savoir si le groupe s'est déjà prononcé à propos de cet auteur, de son oeuvre et de son influence sur leur musique (et même sur le reste)

C'est surtout Plant qui était féru de Tolkien. En effet, il alla jusqu'à appeler son chien, Strider, du nom du personnage qui sévit dans le livre d'Aragorn.L'écrivain, quant à lui, fut le point central dans la progression de Plant en tant qu'auteur.Ramble On contient une référence à Gollum et au Malin ainsi qu'aux terres de Mordor .

Pour l'érotique Fantasy, c'est plutôt Philip José Farmer... "Comme une bâte" et "Gare à la bête"

Dans le fim "The song remain the same" Page se prend pour Gandalf.
Il a d'ailleurs acheté parait-il la maison d'Aleister Crowley, ce soi-disant magicien, escroc pour certains, grand naïf pour d'autres qui vivait au début du XXème siècle.

Graham Bond, qui a sorti, dans les derniers temps de sa vie, le disque "Holy Magic", dans lequel il tente de mettre en musique un rituel de haute magie, se prenait, lui pour un enfant caché d'Aleister Crowley.

J'ai acheté dernièrement pour ma fille qui en est fan "two heads are better than one" qu'il a enregistré avec Peter Brown (le Cream surnuméraire), et j'ai découvert que les vendeurs de la FNAC n'avaient jamais entendu parler de lui.

Il n'a jamais eu dans son groupe QUE : John Mc Laughlin, Jack Bruce, Dick Heckstall Smith, Ginger Baker, John Hiseman, il a joué du sax avec Dr John... d'autres encore sont passés entre ses pattes... Victor Brox, Hendrix...

Si Alexis Korner, Long John Baldry, Lonnie Donegan et lui n'avaient pas existés, je me demande où en serait le rock Anglais !
