Le guitariste Tony Iommi s'est entretenu avec le  Mirror: "J'ai finalement terminé mon traitement d'anticorps au cours de l'été C'est bien d'une manière parce que j'ai plus d'énergie aujourd'hui, mais je ne sais toujours pas si le traitement a fonctionné.».

Il a poursuivi: «Parce que j'ai eu deux opérations différentes en même temps, l'un sur ma prostate et l'autre sur mes ganglions lymphatiques, j'ai eu trop de scans l'année dernière et trop de rayonnement Donc je ne peux pas en avoir encore  plusieurs   Chaque fois que j'ai une douleur dans mon estomac je pense, 'Oh mon Dieu, c'est le cancer. »C'est horrible. J'en rêve même . Mais c'est ma vie maintenant ".

Iommi ajouté:. "Le chirurgien m'a dit qu'il ne se attend pas à que le cancer s'en aille Il y a 30 % de chance qu'il parte, mais plus que probablement, il va revenir et ça peut arriver à n'importe quel moment.

". Je regarde la vie différemment maintenant, je pourrais être encore là dans 10 ans ou juste un an - je ne sais pas."

Ozzy avait dit  que Iommi n'avait  jamais laissé ses traitements le ralentir pendant l'enregistrement de "13". «Je lève mon chapeau  parce qu'il est vraiment Iron Man", a déclaré le chanteur. C'est mon héros, je jure devant Dieu qu'il l'est. "

Osbourne a déclaré au magazine Metal Hammer en Septembre dernier que BLACK SABBATH enregistrera un nouvel album studio en 2015 et fera une dernière tournée. "L'expérience de SABBATH cette fois-ci était super C'était beaucoup de plaisir donc... nous allons faire un album de plus, et une dernière tournée ".

C'est descendu à 25%.....

Triste nouvelle, il semblerait que l'état de santé du célèbre guitariste gaucher Tony Iommi se serait aggravé ces derniers jours et qu'il n'aurait plus que 25% de chance de s'en sortir! Pour rappel, le musicien lutte contre un cancer lymphatique depuis 2012 mais là, son état de santé a malheureusement chuté!
Malgré tout, le chanteur du groupe de hard rock britanique, Ozzy Osbourne annonce un nouvel album de Black Sabbath et une nouvelle tournée à travers l'Europe et les États-Unis!

Tony Iommi est représenté dans un dessin animé sur VH1, dessin animé qui relate l'incident le privant de l'usage de ses phalanges supérieures alors qu'il était ouvrier métallurgiste.

Plusieurs sites de fans issus aussi de Facebook ont annoncé la publication le 4 mai d'une compilation tribute à Tony Iommi intitulée Great Lefty : Live Forever. Les fonds récoltés auront pour bénéficiaire le Macmillan Cancer Support.


Tanzan Music and "Tony Iommi Fan-Tastic" team of Iommi supporters together with Facebook communities "Tony Iommi The Man The Master The Legend" and "Global Black Sabbath Convention" have announced the release of the compilation tribute in honor of BLACK SABBATH's true heart and soul, legendary riffmaster Tony Iommi.

Due on May 4, the first-ever tribute to Iommi, titled "Great Lefty: Live Forever - Tribute To Tony Iommi, Godfather Of Metal", is an act of solidarity towards Tony from pals and fans. The tribute includes participations of well known artists, best BLACK SABBATH tribute bands from all around the world, and the bands and solo artists "children of Iommi" as having Iommi's music as their major influence. All the songs are kindly donated for the cause. The profits from compilation sales will be destinied to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Through years of intensive interventions, he has made continual progress; so much so that now he loves nothing better than to express himself onstage through his music.

Cousins champions the autism awareness movement, being a source of hope and inspiration for the autism community.

Kyle Cousins expresses his love and admiration to BLACK SABBATH's guitar legend with producers Damon Elliott and Michael Politz, performing a song with Vinny Appice (former BLACK SABBATH and HEAVEN & HELL drummer), Barry Goudreau (guitarist for BOSTON), Hugh McDonald (David Bromberg, ALICE COOPER, BON JOVI, LITA FORD).

Sharon Osbourne says Black Sabbath's appearance at Ozzfest Japan in November will be the band's "farewell."

In a message to Japanese fans, frontman Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager says: "Ozzfest will be back in Japan on November 21 and 22. And this will be Black Sabbath's farewell. We're also announcing Korn, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Now you can't miss that."

Last year, Ozzy revealed that Sabbath would record one final album – a follow-up to 2013's 13 – and go on the road one last time in 2015.

He later said he hoped estranged drummer Bill Ward would take part in the band's last hurrah.

Guitarist Tony Iommi battled cancer in the wake of the release of 13, and said earlier this year that he lives with the daily fear that the disease could return at any minute.

La désignation "dernier concert" avait été employée par Sharon Osbourne, femme et manager du chanteur Ozzy, sans plus de précisions. En effet, nous ne savions pas si ce show serait le dernier concert japonais, ou le dernier concert tout court. Bill Ward exige des excuses de la part d'Ozzy :

C'est le coeur gros que j'annonce que je participerai à aucun projet jusqu'à ce qu'il y ait eu une mise au point des griefs. Je pense que cela n'a que peu de chances de se produire. En premier, j'aimerais qu'Ozzy recconnaisse que ses propos étaient faux.

"With a sad heart, I have to say I will not participate in any musical undertakings until a righting of the wrongs spoken against me has been achieved," the drummer wrote on Facebook. "I must admit, I have little to no expectations of this happening, but in the order of first things first, I'm looking for an honest accountability of all of Ozzy's statements that I felt were untrue."

Although the drummer was not specific about the insults that bothered him most, he suspects Osbourne does. "Because I was chastised publicly, I would want him to amend publicly in his words, and not through an Ozzy representative, the nature of the wrongs," he wrote. "I would not want to continue on with him without this seemingly [impassable] dilemma being addressed. I don't think previously strong relationships can remain strong after dispute by just sweeping the offensive stuff under the carpet, or by saying a puny sorry, or 'Oh, that's all over now.' It doesn't work like that for me. Righting of wrong works, and that's what I want if I'm ever going to be his friend again."

Perhaps the most offensive statement Osbourne made was when he called Ward "incredibly overweight" in August 2013 and said, "I don't think he could have done the gig, to be honest.... A drummer has to be in shape. He's already had two heart attacks. I don't want to be responsible for his life."

Ward explained that he "neither severed nor discontinued" his relationship with the band, but that Osbourne's statements alarmed him and caused him to feel "detached emotionally and spiritually from Ozzy." He wants an "honest accountability" of the statements the singer has made that feels untrue.
